Hardscape Crew Member

Build patios, walkways, retaining walls and outdoor living spaces.

What you'll do

  • Excavate, grade and prepare bases for pavers and walls
  • Lay pavers, natural stone and wall block to a high standard
  • Run equipment like skid steers and plate compactors (we'll train you)
  • Leave every job site clean and every client impressed
  • In winter, handle snow clearing and salt and ice management

  • Take care of mowers and equipment

Frequently asked

Do I need landscaping experience?

Not for our field roles. We hire for attitude, work ethic and common sense, then train you. Experience can mean higher starting pay within the $18–$30/hr crew member range.

How fast will I hear back?

Within 24–48 hours of applying.

Where do I report to work?

Our shop is at 20090 W. Lincoln Ave., New Berlin, WI 53146. Crews head out from there to job sites in Waukesha, Milwaukee, Washington and Ozaukee Counties.

Is the work seasonal?

No. Our full-time team works year-round. In winter, crews handle snow clearing and salt and ice management. In season, expect about 45–55 hours a week with overtime pay.

Do I need a driver's license?

It's preferred but not required for field roles. A valid license helps you move up to driving and crew leader roles.

Do I need my own tools or gear?

No. We provide uniforms, gloves, safety gear and all the equipment you need, including newer equipment and assigned crew trucks.

Is there room to move up?

Yes. We promote from within, from crew member to crew leader and beyond, including paths into operations, sales and design.

There's no opening for my role. Should I still reach out?

Yes, especially for office roles. We plan ahead for growth and keep great people in mind for upcoming openings.
